Welcome!
I’m Rev. Dr. Justin Hurtado
Theologian. Walking the sacred within. Still becoming
This is a quiet space for people carrying more than they can name.

I no longer offer spiritual direction or therapy. But I haven’t stopped listening. I just listen differently now, through writing, reflection, and prayer. You’ll find those here: sermons, essays, blessings, and the slow work of a soul still unfolding.

You won’t find me on social media. That’s not a protest, it’s a choice. A commitment to live slowly, stay grounded, and be present where I am. This site is how I stay in conversation with the world.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8.
I offer this space in that same spirit, open-handed, without condition. Take what speaks to you. Pass it on if it helps someone else. Nothing here is copyrighted or withheld.

I hope this space meets you with kindness.
I hope it helps you breathe.
You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.

What you will find here

Sermons and Blessings
Words preached over the years, tender, honest, and theologically grounded.

A Pastoral Note
While I no longer meet one-on-one with folks, I’ve included a brief explanation of that shift, and some gentle direction if you’re looking for support.
